Grimm in India
This storybook caught my attention because nearly everyone has heard of the Brothers Grimm. The story is about a man who married into the Grimm family and has been kidnapped. He says that the sister in the Grimm family is the one who is actually clever and powerful. The blog is well designed and uses a font and theme that holds with the feeling of the tale, and is easy to navigate. The design of the blog keeps the reader immersed in the story, and the introduction keeps the reader wanting to know more about the story.
Barney's Epic India Playbook
Barney's Blog
Who doesn't love How I Met Your mother?? I just recently finished watching the series, so obviously this story told by Barney caught my attention. This blog is very "Barney"... AKA it looks like it is wearing a suit. It is clean and professional as well as very organized and easy to navigate. The writing in this storybook is phenomenal, as the author has somehow managed to mesh the mindset of Barney Stinson with the Epic Tales of India. I didn't know it was possible to talk about demons and deities as if they were girls at a club in New York city, but this blog manages to create something new of these two pieces of media.
A Tale of Two Turtles
Kurma and Karma
Similar to the Barney's Blog Storybook, A Tale of Two Turtles is a really interesting blog based on what seems to be Crush the turtle from Finding Nemo. In this blog, Kurma (the turtle based on Crush) tells us all about how his dad "Karma" got his name. This blog meshes hippie culture of the United States with the ideas of Karma and how energy flows. The style of writing is really cute and entertaining, and the whole blog is under the sea themed. While it is easily navigable, it is also a really cute theme that makes me want to read even if I just get to see more pictures of cute sea turtles!
